John’s Burgers serves burgers the size of a plate
2009 April 18
There’s a place here called John’s Burgers that serves up these burgers that are literally the size of the entire plate. The burgers here are a bit different, because a lot of places will serve them with sliced ham and a fried egg as toppings, something I doubt you’d find in the US. They’re good though, and the best part is you can get a huge burger like this for $2.80 (although here that’s kind of expensive).

Small plates?
normal to big plates, they’re definitely big burgers. Try to use the fork for scale. I realized I should have put like a dollar bill or something in the picture for scale right after I took it, but was too lazy to take another picture.
red robin serves burgers with a fried egg if you get nostalgic.
Where’s this place at?
I’m in Cuenca right now and I don’t think that I’ve ever heard of John’s Burgers, will def give it a try.
Somewhere on Avenida Loja, I don’t recall exactly where though.
