2009 Kentucky Derby Picks

Every year Tate and I make our picks for the Derby, here’s my top 10 for 2009.
1. Friesan Fire
2. Dunkirk
3. Chocolate Candy
4. Pioneer of the Nile
5. Musket Man
6. Papa Clem
7. Hold Me Back
8. General Quarters
9. Mr. Hot Stuff
10. Flying Private
The track looks like a complete mess right now, which might work in my favor because Friesan Fire tends to be OK with mud, and Dunkirk has a couple 1 1/8 mile races already, so he may have some useful experience. Wish me luck.
